Therese Lee is a feminist YouTuber, Podcaster, and Substack writer who has quickly become my favourite content creator. I subscribed to her channel within minutes of watching the first video that popped up on my feed. Her ability to articulate and convey difficult topics is phenomenal.
She conveys insight, intelligence, and honesty in each of her videos. Her discussions and analyses of patriarchy, capitalism, and misogyny are enlightening. I literally watch and rewatch her videos weekly. She addresses women’s history, pop culture, and offers feminist advice in an accessible and digestible format. She debunks myths and cuts through the BS in every episode.

Therese has a way of connecting broader historic and systemic issues to every day experiences and challenges faced by women. Without fail, Therese explains the past, questions the present, and reimagines the future. This is the feminism we need, now more than ever.
I’ve recommended Therese’s content to all my family members, friends, coworkers, therapists and even my doctor. Why? Because Therese’s work is invaluable. It feels like a steal to be able to watch so many of her videos for free.
This is the feminism we need, now more than ever.
Patriarchy isn’t ingrained in our DNA — it’s learned behaviour, supported systemically, and reinforced within communities, homes, and our own minds. Change starts with you and me.
Put it this way, I’m not into asking celebrities for autographs and pictures — but Therese? I’d hangout with her any day of the week. She’s my feminist idol.
